The Hydrodipping Process
At this stage the part is reviewed and any limitations for dipping will be identified as air has to be able to freely escape to allow the film to adhere to the paint. Parts with complicated geometries will have to be carefully analysed to ensure good adherence of the film.
This is where the fun begins, and your choice of film is selected. Once we have established the desired base coat, we can test the dip on a test-part as the finish of a dip is greatly affected by the base coat.
This is the stage when the item is dipped. It is crucial that the part is carefully oriented and air is allowed to escape between the part and the water.
This stage can make or break a dip, as the clear coat is what gives the item its final lasting lustre.
This is the most anticipated stage, and your eagerly awaited part is now on its way to its final destination.
